The short version

  • Your entries are stored on your phone first.
  • No ads. We never sell your data.
  • Sync, backup and sharing are optional and off until you turn them on.
  • You can export or delete your data at any time.

What we collect

  • What you enter: glucose readings, insulin and medication, meals, activity, mood, energy, notes and optional photos.
  • Account details (only if you create an account): email address and sign-in method.
  • Basic technical data: app version, device type and crash reports. Crash reports never include your health entries.

How we use it

To run the app features you use: showing your logbook, charts, reminders and reports; syncing and backing up if you opt in; and sharing with caregivers you invite. We do not use health data for advertising.

Sharing

We share your data only with people you choose (such as a caregiver you invite) and with service providers who host and secure our systems under strict terms. We do not sell personal data.

Security & retention

Data on your device is encrypted. Data in transit uses TLS. Server data is kept while your account exists and is deleted when you delete it, apart from short-lived backups.

Your choices

  • Export your data (PDF/CSV).
  • Delete your data in the app, or request deletion on the Delete my data page.
  • Withdraw sharing with a caregiver at any time.

Children

Diabudy is intended for users aged [13+ / local age]. Parents and guardians may manage an account for a child.

Changes & contact

We will tell you in the app and on this page if this policy changes materially. Contact: support@diabuddy.usmanlive.com.
